Water Team

August 12th, 2009. Monthly update by Salvador Mendez. Hola a Todos!! Do you know that Amigos has a new land to built nice dorms and a place to hang out for all of you very soon. Me and the guys already did a well so we can have water to start construction and it went really well. I hope you all enjoy your time in Nicarargua, we, the Water team we wish everyone the best. July 10th, 2009. Monthly update by Tomas Caceres. Here comes the sun!! Hey we just want to update you guys to let everyone know that the Water team just finished installing a Solar Panel for the well in Los Rotarios, we´re hoping that this helps the community in a way that they won´t have to pay for gas to start the generator instead they´ll wait for the sun to bring them all his shining light to give them water. And guess what?? It´s happening!! Thanks to all of you that made this possible for the community Los Rotarios.

April 30, 2009. Monthly Update by Eddy Poveda. Hey everyone!! Just want to update on what we´ve been doing these past 2 weeks. We´re helping the Alcaldia of Somotillo to have a new well and we might be able to finish it before time - in other words next week. We haven´t had any difficulties everything is moving smoothly. I´ll let everyone know how it went. By the way I´m not around the office because we sleep here in Somotillo - so greetings to all to you from me, Salvador and Tomas. Till next time!!

</`p> April 1, 2009. Monthly Update by Eddy Poveda. Hello from Nicaragua! The past two weeks I have been working with the well team in the community of Dulce Nombre de Jesus near the El Chonco volcano. We have been working to clean an old well in the village to bring water to over 30 families. On Friday we finished with all of the cleaning and repairs and the community is now enjoying access to clean water for their families. This week we are beginning to drill a private well for a family in the same village. So we are keeping busy and doing well. I hope everyone there is doing well and can't wait to see you all soon!
